1. Keep Your Skin Hydrated

Moisturizing

Dr Stephenson recommends moisturizing with coconut and almond oils to prevent premature ageing and wrinkles. "These are my two go-to oils for moisturizing, plumping, and protecting skin from the environment and dryness." Coconut oil is excellent as a night cream, while almond oil is suitable for use at any time and is less pore-clogging if you suffer from acne. Both will give you a healthy, youthful glow, mainly if you use them daily, focusing on dry patches and fine wrinkles."

2. Include a Morning Workout in Your Routine

Morning-Walk

According to Dr Stephenson, getting your cardio in first thing in the morning is crucial. "While weight training is an excellent technique to firm up an older physique, cardio keeps your heart strong and improves circulation throughout your entire body." Cardio in the morning, in particular, boosts circulation and gives you a youthful glow that lasts for hours, plus it gives you more energy. That increased energy gives you a spring in your step and a grin on your face, making you appear younger. All-day long, you feel more youthful and in a better mood."

3. Include Omega-3s in your diet

Omega-3

"Whether you receive your omega-3 fatty acids from fish oil, krill oil, or algal oil (for you vegetarians), this essential supplement has been found to halt the ageing process truly," Dr Stephenson explains. Omega-3s can lower oxidative stress and inflammation, which are both harmful to the body. They can prolong the tips of chromosomes, called telomeres, which shrink with age, according to research from Ohio State University. Longer telomeres are connected with longer lifetimes, while worn-out telomeres promote DNA degradation and damage cell health."

4. Don't Overeat

Stop-Overeating

According to Dr Stephenson, while that extra helping at supper may be initially pleasing, it is not helpful in the long run. "One of the most effective ways to use food for age reversal is to avoid overeating it. Overeating has been shown to induce premature ageing by reducing insulin sensitivity and putting stress on mitochondria, the energy generators in our cells. Overeating can disrupt sleep, contribute to excess body fat, deplete organ reserves, and raise the risk of chronic health problems connected with ageing. It may also increase the risk of memory loss in the elderly. However, getting enough protein, healthy fats, complex carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals is critical, but many people consume too many calories and lack adequate nutritionYou'll feel lighter, healthier, and younger if you eat nutrient-dense foods in moderate portions. The amount of food that is sufficient but not excessive varies greatly. Eat until you are satisfied but not complete, drink plenty of water, and chew your meal thoroughly to determine your boundaries.

5. Be Joyful and Loving

Happy-Couple

"A lot of studies have linked good marriages and strong, supportive social networks to longer and better, more meaningful lives," Dr Stephenson says. We aren't solitary animals. Therefore, we need to prioritize our relationships and cherish and nurture the people we care about if we genuinely want to look, feel, and act younger. Love is the one "cost" that pays for itself tenfold in terms of health and happiness."
